170 East End Avenue is a 19 story glass building overlooking Carl Schurz Park, Gracie Mansion (the home of NYC’s mayor) and the East River. Peter Marino designed this building for family living, as the residences are large and the amenities offer lots of play space, both for toddlers and children.
Residences feature 10 foot ceilings, patterned pre-war oak parquet flooring, Kitchens feature custom cabinetry, Swiss quartzite countertops, Sub-Zero refrigerator and wine cooler, Miele dishwasher, and Wolf gas range. Baths are custom Italian Perlino Bianco slab marble with oversized tubs. Some apartments feature real wood burning fireplaces. Amenities include fitness center, squash court, toddler’s playroom, screening room, children’s interactive playroom, billiards room, library, and concierge.
