Originally designed by Robert T. Lyons and erected by Bing & Bing as the Renaissance Revival-style Gramercy Park Hotel in 1925, 50 Gramercy Park North is the new residential section resulting from the hotel’s total renovation in 2005.
Gramercy Park North’s 23 residences feature floor-to-ceiling windows, white oak floors, wood-burning fireplaces (in many units), and 11’8” or 12’4″ ceilings. The residences overlook Gramercy Park, a private and locked park that is only open to occupants of the buildings facing the park. Kitchens feature cherry wood Varenna cabinetry, Pawson sinks, and Miele appliances. Bathrooms include deep soaking tubs, travertine basins, and separate showers. Amenities at 50 Gramercy Park North consist of hotel concierge service, valet parking, limousine service, access to a rooftop garden, meeting rooms, housekeeping service, room service, massage and spa services, catering service, supervised childcare and babysitting services, pet walking services, fresh flower service and private storage.
